WOW - Wine Experience & Pink Palace

With six world-class museum experiences, nine restaurants, bars and cafés, shops, galleries, event spaces and even a wine school, WOW pays tribute to the city of Porto and tells the story of some of Portugal's most important industries and traditions.

This programme includes entrance to two museums within WOW, the "Wine Experience" museum and the "Pink Palace" museum, different in essence but equal in purpose to create unforgettable moments. 

The "Wine Experience" museum aims to demystify wine on a journey of discovery which explains how wine is made and how environment, climate and grape variety have a defining effect on wine. From root and vine to grape and glass, understand how these processes combine before testing your own palate and preferences to understand which styles of wine you prefer and why. Finally, the richness and diversity of the wine producing regions of Portugal, a unique country producing almost every style of wine, will be explored.

As an outcome of this experience, we hope to enhance your appreciation of wine and help you feel more confident in your choice of wine, whatever the occasion. 

The "Pink Palace" museum, meanwhile, takes visitors on an extravagant and eccentric experience through the vibrant world of Rosé. Created with a distinctive vision that entertains, but also educates. Each room within the museum is different and unique, creating moments that call for photographic clicks and sharing on social networks.

This is a relaxed and very fun experience, where you learn about the history and science behind the production of Rosé wine, but also the culture and lifestyle that this wine symbolizes.

Throughout the experience there will be the opportunity to try five different rosés: Quinta do Vale do Bragão Rosé, AIX Gran Vin de Provence Rosé, Mateus Rosé, Vértice Rosé Bruto and Croft Pink Rosé Port. Another great reason to celebrate life.
